Quad Cities salvage final game of series with Lake County 5-1 on Friday night
DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Quad Cities River Bandits took a 4-0 lead after five innings of play and held on pulling out a 5-1 win after falling in their previous two contests with the Lake County Captains. The Bandits out-hit the Captains 8-5 and used a three run homer by Ryan Jackson to seal the win.

Wolf Pack stay nine points back of final playoff spot
The Wolf Pack (29-30-6-5, 69 pts.) stayed within nine points of an Eastern-Conference playoff spot with a 1-2-0-0 week this past week. All three of those games were at home. The Pack saw a two-game winning streak snapped in a 4-2 loss to Providence last Wednesday and then dropped a 4-3 decision to Springfield last Friday night.
