Most people consider a cute bobblehead as excellent gift item. But did you know that you can make money out of your bobblehead collection? Collecting bobblehead now can become your hobby but 10 to 15 years from now, the value of your collection can bring significant financial reward for you.

Start Collecting Unique Bobblehead Figures

There are two ways to start your collection of bobblehead. First, you can order it from custom bobblehead makers. Another way is to scour specialty and novelty markets for unique bobblehead items. You can also do both to quickly build your collection of different bobbleheads.

Remember that your collection should be very unique and extraordinary if you want it to become valuable in the future. This means you have to invest much effort and carefully plan how you will build your bobblehead collection.

Old Hollywood is Good Material

As a first step, you can browse for very old photos of popular celebrities. Most celebrities today have their own bobbleheads already so they will not be very unique. You can build a collection representing the 19th to early 20th century celebrity figures.

The actors and actresses as well as popular directors and movie moguls during the early times of cinema will be much treasured by movie enthusiasts. If you can build a complete collection of the prime movers of Hollywood, then your bobblehead collection could become priceless in the near future.

Build a Bobblehead Museum

You can also make a niche for people who are enthusiast of historical figures. You can collect bobbleheads of great kings of ancient and medieval times. You can also add great knights or warriors or ancient indigenous tribal leaders.

These are just some examples of historical figures you can collect. With proper planning, your bobblehead collection could become a time map of great people who created history.

Sportsmen and Women are Also Good Materials

You can cater for people who love sports by building an entire line of sportsmen bobblehead figures. To become unique, you can order custom bobbleheads of a complete team.

For example, try scouring for old photos of popular baseball teams in the golden era of the sport. Naturally, old photos would be grainy so you need to do some Photoshop retouching. After the retouch, capture each face and order bobbleheads for them. After a few months, your vintage bobblehead sports collection would be complete. This type of collector’s item would be greatly treasured by sports lovers.

Of course there are other ideas you can devise in building your collection. In fact, you are only limited by your imagination because there are lots of great materials out there waiting to be created as a bobbling head.

Be prepared though to invest time, effort and money in building your collection. Depending on the quality of your collection, its value will surely increase as time passes by. You can also feature your collection in your own website or submit it to world records institutions. If you can hype your collection, then lots of bobblehead collectors will come knocking at your doors.

The Exciting World Of Bobble Heads

The bobbleheads where born back in the year 1842 as a collectible doll. This collectible doll has captured the minds of countless numbers of people around the planet and made millions happy in different celebrative occasions. The bobbleheads can be recognized at the first look by the oversized heads attached to the body of the doll through a spring. The spring attachment makes the doll look lively allowing the head to bobble. At the initial stages the bobbleheads were made of special material called paper-mache. Paper-mache can hardly reflect the originality in the bobble heads and ceramics where later used to manufacture them. Today there are special materials out of which the bobbleheads are made. These materials make it possible to create super real bobbleheads.
