3 Ways to Learn to Play Guitar At Home and Save Money

1) Learning to play guitar online – Since you’re reading this on a computer, you already have all you need for this first method. There are many sites online that can help you learn to play guitar. They post lessons from beginner to expert, and many of these sites are free. There are also pay sites, but it’s recommended that you start with a site that doesn’t charge – you’ll be able to learn everything you need to get started without paying a cent. Later when you’ve gotten some experience under your belt, you may want to consider a more complete pay site.
2) Learning to play guitar from books – There are many books on the market that you can use when learning how to play guitar at home, and books cost a lot less than a private tutor! Look for books with illustrated guides – it’s much easier to learn proper hand placement with a photo showing you just how to put your fingers on the frets.
